Important Immunization Information  

Policy Regarding Medication

1. Medication such as Tylenol can be  brought from home in the original container and kept in the nurse's office. It will be administered by the school nurse.  The school does not furnish any medication.

2. All medications brought to school must be in original container, (prescription or counter drug). Prescriptions must have name of person receiving it on bottle.

3. No medication will be administered unless accompanied by a completed medication form from the parent or guardian  It is a violation of Texas law to adminsiter medication without written parental permission.

4. Any drug given for longer than 20 days must be accompanied by a note from the parent and the physician.
